So it was, I was just lazy and did a search and it never came up... Should have just flicked thru the tech section. ?

So I've got the adjustable lower arms in place and the circlip on the inner pot joint. Couple of problems to sort out. The tracking is obviously way off confirmed by a spin down the road this afternoon. I set the lower arms a few milimeters longer than the standard arms so there should be a smidge of negative camber over the previous set up. Question is do you set tracking first then camber then camber or camber first then caster???? In other words there must be an order of which to set first.

The next problem is that I've put the new superlite wheels on the car and they clearly have more offset. Which makes them unfortunately wide enough to foul the wheel arch on full lock. Does the increased camber also increase the caster and therefore push wheels forward?

there is no order as changing one thing changes the others. you just have to work your way through many times till it is right.

the wheel offset is what is causing the catching along with the ride height.

please note setting the corner weights correctly will also affect the suspension angles. so really get suspension about right. set corner eights then correct the suspension. then trim the bodywork to suit the wheels and tyres fitted.
