Hi everyone, I am looking for some advice on what spec of engine. I’ve got a bare 1275 block to start with. I am looking to go into class 3 , up against corsa’s & Mirca’s .

Don't over cam or over carb. You want all the gas flow and torque that you can wring from the the engine below a max of 6,500 RPM.
