Hi all I’ve done a load of research into this and Other than people being scared of doing it looks like it’s possible with the impact bars fitted, has anyone done this and got pictures advice etc on doing it, my car is currently being restored so it’s something I’ll be at least making provisions for in the future I.e getting the door drilled and grommets in for wiring before paint.
Cheers

When you cut the holes in the door and the side of the A pillar if you make them parallel and 15mm and use this conduit.

Put the wires down the pillar and into the door
From inside the door you can put the conduit over the wires and screw the conduit until it passes through the a pillar.
It seals the door and the pillar holes and easily flexes when you shut it, and is cheap.

Which kit have you used? I adapted a universal one for the central locking but electric windows seems trickier  >_<

The only kit available for the classic mini. Available from minispares, Moss, wood and Pickett etc.

I did have a batch of them last year but the prices have gone up this year.
