I'm looking to get some mirrors for the mk2 cooper and I'm looking at the minispares gam112/3 mirrors. I'm wondering if anyone has these and could post so pictures of them fitted up for me please?

Sorry, very practical question to stoneface, what's visibility like through them? They look quite small.

Yes they are smaller and there is less view, but they are clear and useable.

Photo taken next to a TEX mirror for comparission.

Put some tape over 1/3 of your standard mirror and you won't be far off size wise.

I've got these GAM112/113 mirrors. But they do not fit to the original door captive screw. After fitting it in, the mirror stems are slanted. This resulted in the mirrors are in awkward angle. Pointing to sky or outward.

Anyone has similar prob?

I had these and returned them due to not being able to raise up enough for the view I needed

I was pointed towards GAM107C/108C for my mk2 .. I haven’t bought them yet but people say that they work

The first set I had was more like yours but there was no way you could get any visibility out of the passenger side. These ones have longer stalks I think

So I did some investigation on the parts and the main prob is that the supplied bracket sits slanted after installing. To get correct viewing angle, it needs to sit straight.

Started to explore way to elongate the mounting holes when I saw that I could resolve the prob by swapping the mounting brackets. IE. LH to RH and vice versa. This indeed solved the prob! Now the mirror could be adjusted to a suitable viewing angle.

It is likely that there was a screw up in a certain batch where the factory included the wrong bracket for the corresponding mirrors.

Been thinking of buying these for a while, anyone else got these and if so have you had the same problems with them?
