Been round the car checking removing any snot welding making it with plug welds so it can be taken apart properly. there is a little bit of seem welding on cills that is ok
bare metal stripped the body
rear end is primered ready to paint there are a few pin dints on top rail but its flat
replaced rear load floor lip for tailgate
Tailgate is pretty good for an original. 95% have not done anything to that except bare met and primed
doors rebuilt bottom edges and replaced a section on both need finishing.
rear valence and corner panels new already fitted when i got it
front end fitted heritage front wings n/s and o/s A panels already fitted
front panel came with it.
bonnet have repaired front corner
if it was going to be concours bonnet and load floor would need to be replaced
Load floor is solid work dented but honest has repairs
repaired part of front edge of load floor and replaced complete bottom of bulkhead panel.
both floors have been replaced
inside stonechipped and primed. outside cleaned and oil coated to protect
door lines are good
passenger side excellent drivers a little tight had no hinge gaskets fitted so that will be ok.
Mechanics
front end calipers alloy cooper with vented discs new pads
subframe completely refurbed copper brake lines new shocks slave cylinders brake shoes alloy new vented rear drums.
when i brought it was told engine had been rebuilt by cooper its a 1275 ex works cooper stamped with numbers.
to be sure took head of it can confirm it has been re lined with new pistons markings tally with what should be on it for a ex works engine.
car is complete except for rear screen, seats and 1 indicator lens,do have old P5 lights if required.
V5c is registered in my name became historic last year
