Home made centre console and deleted heater - I thought it was a good idea not to have a heater at the time - hmm how wrong can you be, if you want to use the car before May and after August

Sorry realised this was in the wanted section (I replied from the main menu) - sorry don't have it/one - I sold it at an autojumble and saw it on ebay about 6 months later (it was def mine as it had the made up panels with it still)

that's a great picture and given me some ideas. Does the speedo attach to the dash or is it still held in place by the original binacleMine from a few years ago (got rid of it since then):

Speedo is held in by the original binnacle (My car was originally a City E with a single speedo only and no other gauges, so the round binnacle not the oval one)
The dash pushes up to the edge of the binnacle - The thickness of the plastic tapers to almost nothing at that point so is quite flexible and meets quite well
Mine had already been hacked about so I made up some panels to fill the spaces then redid the holes I wanted in the new panels
I think I got it for nothing from a mate (as it had been hacked about) used it for 5 years sold it for a tenner at the auto jumble I think and then saw it about 6 months later on Ebay starting at £25 IIRC - I didn't watch it so cant say what it sold for
I saw a mint one on Ebay (I think with original box?) a while ago IIRC 100 quid starting price
Probably very collectable now but not if you put any holes in it which defeats the object really?

Just to note - I was going to put the additional switches under the originals but the way the two faces are angled means they wont fit (maybe you won't want so many switches... )
Hence the home made console (and it looks it!)
