Best Answer nicklouse , 18 May 2020 - 12:30 AM

what manual do you have?

Haynes manual chapter 11 image 3rd page described section 9:16 mentioned in the words no images. but there is only one available space under the top arm that it would fit.

I didn't have these parts labelled  :(  and hope someone can tell me what they are. They were stored in the same bag so I'm assuming they go together.

thanks in advance,

Brian

They are what’s left of the rebound buffers that sit under the top arm and the front bump stops.

They should have rubber on them so are basically scrap now.

Its worth noting, if you've lowered the front at all, to put a 1/8" shim under the rebound buffer. This helps to prevent ball joint failure due to excessive droop. You have two ready made shims there.

That is actually more to do with neg camber.

Following up on this does anyone have a picture of the "under top arm re-bound buffer" (2A4267) mounted to the car? My manuals don't show it.
