I'm in the very early stages, (I've put it on) of fitting the front end. the end is in sight!!

When I attach the front wings to the front panel the fit is bad, really bad.  I know that I will need to fettle but all the panels are heritage.

So I think I may have the panels on incorrectly.   I can't tell if the wing should sit behind the front panel or in front.  Pics below to explain

Should the plate on the wing sit behind the front panel?

Yellow part in front of red?

Should the tab on the wing go over or under?

Answered my own question by consulting Project Paddy Bible.   Some pictures with the wing in grey primer and panel still black. Nice and Clear

Thanks Neil.

If you fancy a watch the Simpson's Classics Budget Clubman re-build had a new front end.

There was some cutting needed to make it fit properly.
