As per title, I have a set of both that require a rebuild, which would be most suited to a 1275+040?

Thanks

I had my engine built, also with a +40 overbore, and the builder recommended a hif44 with a BBW needle

Perfect thankyou, might have a look into this also, maybe fitted with a howley manifold, good to have a starting point with the BBW needle, thanks again

I only used a Howley inlet because it came with the carb as well as a K+N cone filter. Howley were based about 9 miles from us so kept it

Done a bit of digging and alot of people recommend the howley manifold, janspeed preferred but not readily available and not sure if they do a figment for the hif44
