Hi All,

Has anyone got a spare seat diaphragm hanging around? its the late type rubber one I am after.

For some reason Covid lockdown and extra weight may have split mine in half!!

If not any ideas on how to fix without?

Thanks

Did mine not so long ago. It had obviously given way long before I bought the car and a previous owner had used very large cable ties to form a net under the foam instead. This worked well, apart from the fact the stiffness of it mean that the foam was getting crushed between me and the cable ties, especially once the suspension cones reached a point where they needed replacing. This problem is a pain in the ass as you can't buy replacement seat foam for the later two post seats.

I reupholstered my seats with foam from an upholstery stall at the local market. I used contact adhesive to glue bolster sections on the base. Works a treat.
