Hi all,

 

I'm fitting a Mk3 style metal oblong badge to an undrilled bootlid and I've decided to remove the three pins and use Scotch trim tape to avaoid drilling the lid (which is already painted).

 

Can anyone tell me the distance between the top of the seal running around the registration lamp housing and the bottom of the badge, so I get it at the right height on the lid?

I make it 15mm. On my clubman which is a mk3

I fitted mine halfway between top of housing and bottom of boot handle when opened it looked right to me
