I see Miller's do an SAE30 running in oil, would that be suitable for an A-series? I couldn't so easily find a comparison of the spec of 20W-50 and SAE30.

I feel that's a little too light for the gearbox. For what ever it is worth, the one I use (Penrite) is a 15W-40.

Cheers Chris, I've had a quick shufty and found that penrite at one of the online retailers here in NL, but it costs slightly more than the Miller's Mini specific 20w50. Is it worth bothering with a special running in oil like that on a new build (old cam, new followers), or should I just change the oil I was going to use (Miller's Mini) after running in?

Many years ago, before I was using this Oil, I was using a mineral grade 15W40 in a name brand, but at the very low end of their range. It didn't have any fancy additives, it worked OK.
