Currently have my front subby out and planning to get it powder coated. Wondering what everyone feel is the correct color (mainly gloss) of it. It’s black, of course. I’ve heard satin, gloss, but what is correct? I do small scale coating and have landed on a 55% satin (they call it PACAR) under bonnet black. Any bracket or component that was black is that now. Is the subframe similar to the other parts of glossier/duller? I actually have a NOS clutch slave bracket for a good reference for brackets and things. Just not 100% on the frame.
