You should have a squared "U" shape bracket on top of the mount - with a one arm holed at the top and the opposite side with a captive but in it....(takes a 4" or so bolt to mount the rad)
Quick edit er ! - Looks like you have an early engine in which case right bracket - wrong way round!!...assuming using the ealry 2 piece rad cowling...

You need the cooper S bracket that is shaped to clear the damper, you also need the matching rad cowling. I bought both from minispares, they needed quite a bit of work to make them fit.

It’s the old style 2 piece cowling .. I think it’s the minispares one I need, the one I have must be for the narrower pully
