I search the forum but i didnt find the answer. my mk1 mini has a mk3 roof skin. Is it possible if i put a mk1 headlining frame to achieve the mk1 look? the roof has been cut on finish of the skin. the pillars are mk1

If you still have the Mk1/2 Mini 'cant rail' surrounding the roof above the pillars you should be ok.

The Mk3 roof skin is the same shape as Mk1/2 but the Mk3 Cant Rails above the pillars are a different shape to take the rods which support the Mk3 roof lining.

You would obviously need to source MK1 headlining support frame, the 2 piece frame is obviously very different from the Mk3 set up. There is one currently for sale on Ebay.
