Hi Everyone

I’ve had a 1973 850cc mini in Antique White. I’ve had it for years but not really had a good run of driving it as yet. The first ? 10 years were spent trying to replace the brakes by myself (I have no previous mechanical experience) but I eventually took it to Rutland Mini’s and David sorted that out for me (along with a few other bits). I then found out that the gauges weren’t working because some mice had moved in and made a home behind the windscreen wiper motor and decided to chow down on some cables. I am currently trying to replace the instruments wiring loom which has its own challenges (I’ll post those questions somewhere more appropriate). I am still hoping to get some driving out of it this year but need to keep up the momentum as my wife wants to get a Porsche and put it next to it in the garage.
