Hello,

I just replaced mine radiator, upper and lower bracket and housing for a 67 Cooper S.  The previous owner used a mk2 housing and how it modify to fit. Now that I’m using the correct parts, the upper bracket for housing is higher and shorter, close to an inch  than the thermostat housing using part 12G0617. So I order #12G0617S and a spacer #12A0312 from Seven Mini parts  because the fan blade is rubbing the outer housing. Would these two parts solve issue?

Thank you for reading.

You can use a short length of thick wall tube to act as spacer between the rad bracket/thermostat housing.  Installing the spacer between the water pump pulley and the fan could move the fan away from the shroud, just be careful it doesn't foul the radiator.  You may have to play around with it a little to get it right.

I just ordered a 4mm spacer and a different upper bracket and give a try.

Thank you for taking time, Thai
