Rover Dash Instal?

Anyone have any tips for installing these dash components? I’ve searched the internet and can’t find any decent photos of what it’s supposed to look like.

This is the set up for gauges to set behind the steering wheel.
Any help or photos would be great!

I have this shape in my car. 

 

 

You have to bend it to install it and finally after two years it look like that :

Maybe I installed it in the working and I put some foam on the back that probably does not help. 

 

I think I will for rigid at some point.

If it helps at all (if you haven't already purchased the original style liners), we manufacturer dash liner kits that fit completely differently to the originals...
