Ahh right,so the airfilter contributes to the noise of the exhaust,I honestly didn't think it would,every day n all that...

and it does not help power. a standard filter housing with a KN element is the best option unless you are racing.

Yep I ditched the K&N cone for the standard box with a K&N element - much more civilised without any noticeable drop off in performance . Just a nice deep note from the twin box RC40 in the background to keep me entertained.

On closer inspection,my manifold is a Maniflow Freeflow 3 branch not an LCB
