That's some mark-up! They'll probably get it, but will have to wait for the right person to come along.

It´s a great build, I had noticed it for sale again recently. 25k is a lot for a Clubman estate, even in that condition. Really need someone for whom that ticks all the boxes and has that kind of cash for it too.I have to say it ticks a lot of my boxes for a Clubby Estate, but I don´t have that kind of cash spare and wouldn´t sell my Cooper to buy it either...

Minworld advertised their finished Clubman Estate project car for a year starting at about £17-18k and slowly reduced it to about £14k with no serious takers and a couple of scammers, so it eventually went to auction at Historics. Apparently there were three bidders who quickly passed the reduced reserve and kept going to £18,200, roughly the asking price they had been after a year earlier in the classified ads.

So it begs the question how on earth can that dealer realistically expect £24k!?

However they purchased pre lockdown, but sadly times have changed.
