Hi

I’ve had some bonnet pins fitted. The bonnet fits fairly snuggly onto the body. Do I need to put anything between the bonnet and body - protection wise - seals, padding etc?

Thanks
Andy

I put some beading down the sharp edges of the bonnet so it doesn't rub the pain in the gutter away too quickly (it still will, but not as badly).
You could put closed cell foam in the gutters, but if it is too thick it will lift the bonnet up slightly

Thanks GraemeC

Did you fit these to the body or the bonnet itself?

Reread your post and now it’s the bonnet now! ?

i have fitted a small amount of rubber heater pipe onto the upstand of the pin. then the bonnet sits ontop of the rubber.
