Looking at exhaust systems for my 1380, whats best one to go for thats not ridiculously loud like the one already fitted. Its been fitted with a stainless manifold and a DTM stainless no middle box just back box, it rattles the car and annoys the neighbours.. Would a 2" fletcher tone it down a bit but still sound good?

what spec? you would be fine with a RC40 if it is a road spec build. side exit is always quieter than centre. the more outlets the louder it is.

Sorry to sound thick, how do you mean what spec? I don't mind some noise but its way too loud at the minute. Maybe I'm getting old lol

No complaints with my mild steel standard bore RC40, it's lasted 20 years, first one I bought only lasted 13 years.

Ive got a Maniflow Large Bore LCB and a Maniflow Large Bore Twin Box centre exit on my 1380....and it sounds lovely.

It did have a single box stainless RC40 centre exit on it before..but that was quite loud !

Try a Twin box RC40. Steel ones are ok, good cheap exhaust.
