:'( Hi can anybody help me sort my spraygun out ?

Its a devilbis and its started stuttering, going on and off, 1 second on and 1 second off.
it does this with paint or thinners i just want a constant spray >:genius: whats gone rong with it

Hello mate. Are you sure it's the gun, and not compressor related?

Its a big compressor so no probs with lack of air
Set the regulator from 30 psi up to 70 psi dosent make any diference stil stutters

Strip it down and get a rebuild kit , cures most things

Going to strip it down today even tho its brand new been reading and it might have an air leak

Stripped it down today and just in front of the trigger there is a small nut i removed it to find a nylon washer then some white gunge and then another nylon washer. i think the gunge is ment to be some sort of sleave so i phoned up paint shop supplys they told me its a gland kit pack of two £9.40 hope this sorts it :P

Instaled the new packing gland and just the same >:)
Phoned a mate he said i must still have an air leak and sugested the front seal on the paint nozzle
it looked ok but when i reasembled it i tightend it right up tight and it works fine now so on with some painting :D
