Someone has put yellow backgrounds on mine and I want to go back to standard. Does anyone know if they will come off without faking the original background with them?
TIA

Be careful removing the rev counter needle, the shaft is pretty thin. I know because I managed to snap mine a few years ago!

If you are going to try my best advice would be once dismantled GENTLY heat the dials with a hairdryer to help the adhesive release and then if there is any glue residue left wipe WD40 on it, as that will dissolve it without further damage to what is below. Be prepared to have fit new backgrounds though in case they don't come off. Good luck.

I had an assortment of gauges and dials from different cars, so got my backgrounds from Sticky Fingers. They are a good price and very accurately made. Also any custom modifications can be incorporated.
