Good evening,

Right I feel rather ashamed in asking this, but perhaps showing age.

About 6/7 years ago I changed my daughters dashboard (1988 jet black) for one of those awful cheap

back and red mdf ones, bad choice, cheap materials poorly made.

Anyway I kept the original parts and now she has a modern car, now  that Uni is over and I

want to return the  dash to original . I have the metal frame to support the gauges, with the 4 protruding  studs, but

cannot recall how the hell it goes in. I cannot find 4 holes in the fire wall to push the studs through, well

not without pulling it more apart, which i would prefer not to.

Can anyone help or have photo that I could work from.

Many thanks

MM2.

Great thanks,

I will look again,  they must be there because it came out , just cannot see 4

holes that make sense.

@Floyd that is a very helpful picture! Do you happen to have a higher resolution one?

Hi fokko

Is this any better?

Not sure if the upload process knocks the res down.

All sorted thanks.

What was throwing me  was the black  rubber plugs that must have been supplied with the old custom  dash which i put in, these being black plus the

black colour of the car, it all looked factory, when i was expecting open holes, behind all the sound quilt etc.

Glad you sorted it mokeman.

Always exciting when someone is reversing mods to go back to factory spec.
