Am working on a mates GSXR750 and removed the rad, that’s caked in dirt and road cack, what’s the best way to remove all that? I was gonna leave it in a bath overnight to loosen up the rubbish between the fins. Any do’s or donts?

Use a garden hose and a pipe cleaner to clear the fins. Flush the internals of the rad

I put mine in the bath and then cleared it through with the shower hose with the head removed. Thumb over the top for a bit of extra pressure worked a treat.

I use ultrasonic machine. It's quite satisfying watching the amount of crap that floats out of a radiator.

I can Imagine..! I’ll give it a go in the bath, see what happens. A lot of the fins are bent over too, will see what a pattern rad is to buy, I doubt Suzuki make them anymore and probably hideously expensive!!
