Hi

Looking for the correct curve settings on a csi dizzy for my 1380cc A+

I've got it booked in to a rolling road and wanted to make sure they have the correct settings

Spec:

1380cc

Weber 45

Big valve TCK Head

1.5 roller rockers

NGK B8ES

276 cam

sccr box 3.1

Thanks in advance.

Spence

What I did when installing the Swiftune CSI was to consult the spec sheet that was supplied with the dizzy.  That will get you close.  Changing the curve is a simple task of removing the cap and adjusting with a small flat tipped screwdriver, also nicely provided with the distributor.

I saw your post yesterday and then went looking for Swiftune's Curves as they are different to the standard ones CSI offer, but while Swiftune's products are good, they are a bit too 'Secret Society' to the point of being silly with too much of their stuff and these, like their cam specs, don't seem to be available.

I have the curves on pdf moke spider think i can only share them on a mail though.

I was running 6's but they kept braking down causing back firing so went to 8's as that's what was recommended by swifttune. think i'll just get it set up on the rolling road and go off they say

I’m running near enough the same spec as you expect with twin 1.5 SUs. I’m currently got mine set at 16. No idea if this is right or not, but the road curves ar 13-16. I can take a pic of the sheet supplied if you need it. Mine is the Swiftune 23D dizzy though so no idea if that makes any difference?

If your CSI is the one that Swiftune sell, if you could upload a scan or photo of the curves, that would be helpful. The Curves are all the same between the body types.

On the basis I’m too thick to work out how to actually attach the PDF. Maybe an apple thing...
