I have just got round to fitting my Sportex centre exit pipe, however, when I removed old manifold. carb set up (single) is attached to manifold. New pipes do not have facility to attach carb assembly, so I have 5 ports, only 3 on new pipe. I assume I need some sort of adaptor, but what? Help!

Sounds like you have bought an exhaust system with manifold (LCB or 3-1) so you will need an inlet manifold as well.

If you removed the cast type manifold you need the alloy inlet manifold

Apparently you can cut the cast manifold. It is not something I have tried myself. Especially since inlet manifolds are relatively cheap and plentiful.

In fact I have a spare you could have for free if you're near by.
