Best Answer RedRuby , 20 July 2020 - 02:00 PM

A picture would help but as a complete guest in its absence could it be a condenser fitted to stop interference with the radio.

Hi, can anyone tell me what this is connected to the coil and just to the bracket, the small rusty looking barrel?

Thanks

Hi, apologies I don't seem to be able to add a picture but a condenser for radio interference sounds plausible. Thanks

Not all SPi's have a suppressor fitted. I have had a good set of ignition leads fitted together with some NGK BPR6ES plugs and never suffered any interference on the radio.
