are the rods for the circlip type and the push fit type the same?

The Rods for are different. Pistons and Pins are the same.

Yes, it is, but I don't see an issue with that. I regularly buy from the UK and US.

P21253 is fine for up to c.6500 rpm and is listed as the correct replacement for the original Cooper S pistons.

 

 

my head has had a skim twenty odd years ago, and now ive skimmed it about another 3 thou. on the austin 1300 gt engine would they be okay for the compression ratio ? I really need to check the chamber volume but i dont have a burette.
