Hi guys the idle speed goes up and down, is it fuel or ignition. Engine is 1293 sw5 cam hiff44 carbon big value head .thanks for any advice.

Have you got oil under bottom top Hif44 carb? Check it!

Check the vacuum advance pipe and elbows for perishing. Also check for air leaks around the manifold and carb

thanks for replying, will check oil in carb. Then go through inlet for leaks.
