Hi, since joining here we have bought a mk2 mini with a missing rear parcel shelf panel. Because the mk3 mini will soon be sold I was wondering if that panel was identical for both?

Also, is the mk2 worth any more than the mk3? The mk3 would be a much easier restoration out of the two we have.

Is this posted in the wrong section? Is there some protocol I'm not following? What am I doing wrong please?

Don't want to appear rude but seems like I'm the only one not getting answers..

In my opinion the mk3 is a better option but I will probably be in the minority

I don’t thing you can beat a well done mk3 especially a cooper

It’s a sleeper till you put your foot down

Thanks, I prefer the looks of mk3 and the winder windows seem more practical but the other half likes the older look of the mk2.

Do the mk2 fetch higher prices as a rule or are they much the same? I could spend hours and hours trawling through the internet trying to figure it out but I'd rather be in the shed.

I will try and repair the parcel shelf panel since nobody can confirm the compatibility.
