I have some new front shocks, just ordinary oil filled. When compressed should they bounce back?? These don’t. They are from Moss europe. I had a set that were leaking sent from them and these Are the replacement shocks. No leaks and good resistance moving the shock up and down. Thought they should come back up on their own tho???

A standard Oil Shock won't 'bounce back'. The Gas filled types do.
