As I sat in my 35 LE edition Cooper (with the leather seats), I sank what felt like 3 inches into my seat suddenly and abruptly. It felt as in some supporting mechanism in the centre bottom area of the seat itself had failed.

Is this a known issue and how would I rectify it? Many thanks in advance!

If you're taking the seat apart to replace the diaphragm you might also want to buy new foam too.
