1.53kg  if its all there 

Good guess, 1.48kg was the total.

 

 

i nerded and calculated it, assumed the 64mm stock 141mm deep  worked out volume of cylinder then worked out new volume of cylinder subtracted old from new and assumed the cast had a density of 7.23G/cm^3 then times by 4 for all cylinders

You have too much time Phil! I expect the slight discrepancy is down to what was left in for honing?

 

 

Could be a different density of cast and wear etc etc

Phil I know covid restrictions are biting hard but I do think you should really think seriously about getting out a lot more. Hats of for your answer.

 

 

im currently waiting for my new job to start while on gardening leave, would have been working on the mini changing fan belt alternator and supercharger belt and fan however was out today in the kayak so im out im afraid
