I am open to help from others ;-)

I have nearly finished my mini apartfrom one electrical problem

Hazards work fine but when I indicate all 4 flash

I have checked and double and triple checked all connections

I have changed hazard switch, flasher unit and tried another set of stalks which I had

None of this helps

If I put a bulb in interior light it blows bulb or fuse

I have 12v at light when on and 0v when off

Am I missing something obvious if not where would you start

You should have 12V at the interior light all the time on the purple/orange wire.- it is switched on/off by switching the earth on the purple/white wire.

The switch on the light should have three positions:

1) no connection to earth

2) permanent connection to earth

3) connected to earth via door switches

The purple/orange is connected to the same fuse as the purple orange that supplies power to the hazard relay

Post a picture of your hazard switch wiring, and the wiring at both of the flasher units.

Mini interior lights are experts at shorting, lots of bits of bare metal. Notice you also had a horn topic going - the horn & headlamp flasher share volts with the interior light & it's not unknown for the wires on the column stalk to get detached.

The only place the L+R indicators should  connect is via the dash warning light.

Is it a centre speedo? Try pulling the bulb holder out of the casing.

Indicators are ignition dependent, hazards are permanent - turning the ignition on/off with one then the other running could give you a clue. Poor earthing points could link L to R instead, but should affect the brightness & flash rate as there'd be connected in series
