Been making a bit more progress with my engine build. Trial fitting the rad and associated parts, but the rad sits at an angle when mounted..

Should be the correct top bracket but not sure about the lower one? This is from round nose mini and make the rad lean in at the bottom. The cowl is also from round nose mini. Can’t seem to find any info. Mini spares site shows an early split cowl but this is up to 1974. My car is 78. Anyone got any ideas what I’m missing here?

There were different upper and lower brackets for the clubman, as well as thicker fan spacer.

for a one piece shroud you need this lower bracket:

Ahhhh there are many different lower mounts. I am aware of at least 3 that fit like the later versions and then there are the very early ones that are totally different.

i think you've got the bottom mount the wrong way around.

The 1275 GT has a 1275 top bracket and is actually unique to that model. It's similar to the Cooper S one, but put the Radiator a bit further out from the engine.

There's 6 lower brackets I've found (that are used with the 2 piece cowlings), all different and there's 3 lower Cowlings (with the 2 piece types) also having different off-sets on the bracket.
