what's acceptable in the world of minis and swage lines? spent hours and hours trying to get this best I can it doesn't help that the rear panel swage line area is about 1/8 " wider both are heritage panels this is were I have got to with it I suppose  the seam cover strip will break it up slightly?

 

as you can top line up but not bottom due to it being wider on the rear panel

On my untouched from factory car there a differences between the panels.

 

You realise how old the design is and how these cars were built.

 

I think it just adds to the cars character.

I really struggled on Paddy and people know i'm quite pedantic with things like this. I did do some tweaking around to try get it spot on but it looks very similar to yours.

 

That was a new quarter panel and rear panel from window down.

Cheers Neil I have done loads of tweaking I think I shall settle for were it is now ?
