The reason I like the mini so much is there are so many options to make it your own individual car, I think your van looks great on bigger wheels and at the end of the day it’s another classic still tearing up the tarmac, keep your chin up and take other peoples opinions as what they are just someone else’s opinion ? it’s all about individual choice.

That's what I thought mate, there's such a wide variety in the Mini world there's no such thing as a right or wrong way to have one unless it's for concourse.
Too many of these types of forums and owners clubs are cliquey,if you want to encourage participation that needs to change

The Mini in perticular is a car which you can make your own, enough styles and goodies to choose from.

Most people around here mean well and can advice you when you need it, but everybody has his own style, stick to what you think is beautiful.

I would like 10" wheels under my estate, but since I have the entire MG-metro-turbo brake-setup, including 4-pot calipers and master cylinder, I wonder how I'm going to tackle that.

I have always liked the Van, keep the beauty rolling!!

All Minis are different, some I like and some I dont.

 

Personally I love the look of your van, especially on 12" wheels!

Some of us (including me sometimes) don't think about how our posts will sound to others but few mean to offend.  Give the place a chance, there's a lot of good and knowledgeable people on here who are willing to help you with any problem you may have and it's certainly one of the nicer forums to be on.
