6 year ago I gave up and sold my project, then went down the bike engined kit car route.

Fast forward to now and I'm back with a mini

9 years ago I fitted a new boiler for a chap. The boiler went into the garage where there was a 1975 mini 1000 sat. Every year i go back and service said boiler, and every year we have the same old mini conversation.

This year (last week) was a different conversation. Long story short this evening I've picked up said 1975 mini 1000. Along with 3 boxes of spares and a mountain of paper work.

So here is my new to me mini. 56523 miles from new, Taxed, moted and now to the power of the Internet in my name. I'm its 3rd owner, Brian who I purchased it off, purchased it off the original owner in 1995. This has never been restored. Its only had a couple of patches in the rear archers and 2 sills. Its as original as youd expect from a car thats being maintained and not restored

I'd post some pictures but photobucket is asking me for money and I don't really know what else to use

Tidy little car as it goes. Never used my phone for Imgur and always used a laptop. So not sure where you are going wrong there.

Beautiful original example. Loving the OG number plates, please please please don't change them for silver and chrome.

Imgur, click on the photo and copy the BBCode link and paste those instead.

Oh I'm enjoying it ok, just debating if I want to put reverse rims on or just leave it alone, if I do reverse rims that will be the only thing I do,

I'd suggest you swap to imgur for photo hosting as most other people here have I think.

Nice roads, fantastic Mini, great views, great pics!

Enjoy the indian-summer for as long as it lasts.

Today is the last day of good weather, at least here in Holland it is.
