Just bought a Clarke (Machine Mart) portable garage to house a mini. It's going on a concrete slab base and I'm looking for the best way to anchor it down. The corner legs are meant to have ground anchors for grass/gravel etc and the tension straps attach to them. The intermediate legs have round bases with 3 holes. I could use rawlbolts thorugh them to anchor the frame down but that doesn't help the corners where the straps are. Does it matter that the corners are not anchored down?

Any recommendations from anyone who's erected one of these on concrete.

How about eye bolts in the concrete to secure the tie down straps directly?

I thought of that one after I spoke to Machine Mart Technical help. They didn't help. MM thougt I could drill a hole in the corner tube and bolt to the floor but not happy with that. The other thought I had was using a saddle clamp over the corner tubes and bolt to the floor.

I'll see if anyone on here has actually fixed one to a concret floor before I decide on which option might  be best.

Thanks Ethel.

Resin anchor studs are a good alternative to Rawlbolts and you also fix some eyebolts into the concrete with the resin:-

Ive had a few of these over the years. I get about 4 years out of each one until the shell rips. A couple things i have learned over the years-

Wrap every joint and bolt area with duct tape. This prevents rubbing and the eventual rip in the shell.

Bolt every rib down. I usual run 2x9 along the entire length and lag bolt into that. I then use ground anchors to hold the board to the ground. Works perfect. For yours i would use a resin type anchor system. Drill a hole in the concrete and drop a resin coated lug unto the hole so you have something to screw into.

You can buy a vent kit for these if you look hard enough. Its just a little ribbed thing that gets cut into the back ridge. Its worth it.

Every few weeks go out and make sure the tightening straps are still adjusted correctly.

Going to pick up some eye bolts this afternoon for the concrete slabs. On my pram type cover I used pipe lagging on the roof ribs to stop wear and also condensation. I might try the same on this Clarke cover.
