Has anyone got a B pillar plastic blank which is about an 2" square I've lost one during rebuild pictures for illustration

You mean part numer CZH628 "Plug for striker plate hole".

They seam to be hard to come by. Mini Spares and Moss don't have them, but you can try to give somerford mini a ring.

One of the TMF members must have one of these collecting dust in a box or on a shelve...

Or one could 3D print one for you.

I bound to have a spare somewhare. Will browse through my stuff tomorrow, but I'm located in NL so will have to post then (if I find any)..

The topic starter did get hold of an orignal cover.

 

As this item is not langer available (NLA) at the mini specialists, I measured up mine a draw it up in 3D.

I found a few used ones of these in a box the other day.  Didn't realise they were NLA.
