Can't wait to post all my pictures here and show the progress as I keep working on this mini. I've had it about a year or so and have been loving the car. Recently the auto box is going out so I've been collecting everything to swap to manual. This was the plan all along anyways, but with the transmission dying, I'm now more motivated.

The intent of this car is to be a decently comfortable car to take to work and on trips out of town while being fun to drive. No intentions of it being faster than pretty much anything else on the road, but enough power to keep up in modern traffic.

Suspension:

Coil spring conversion

Adjustable heim joint front lower arms

Gaz adjustable shocks

Minispares rear swaybar

Solid front subframe mounts

Poly rear subframe mounts

Wheels/Tires:

12x4.5 stock wheels w/ Nankang SV-3 winter tires

10x5 Minitor  w/ Yokohama A032R's

Engine:

MED lightweight balanced pre-verto flywheel/clutch assembly

MED-Piper RS cam w/lifters

CAM4810 head mildly ported, skimmed, and valves lapped

Lightweight duplex timing chain

Minispares torquemaster intake manifold

Maniflow header and custom 2" exhaust

2.78 F/D

I've definitely gotten that from alot of people. It does make for a nice ride around town.

Getting more work done on the motor. Paint is finished and I got the cam in and timed. With the normal key, it timed in at 103. Luckily I had a 2 degree offset key so I installed that and checked again that it moved to 105. Figured that should be good, especially with a new chain that may stretch slightly.
