surprised nobody's mentioned fitting the plastic chrome trim along the wheel arch/sills. Never managed to get this looking flawless despite buckets of hot water, hair drier etc.

Forgot another one - door windows - how are you supposed to get both winder wheels into the channels....

Is this the fluted deluxe trim?

 

The plastic u channel type one is a nightmare but the fluted deluxe trim is a doddle.

The trick is to forget all the tips about using hot water and hair dryers  and just press it in inch by inch from the back to the front and try not to get it twisted as you unroll it onto the car
