I hate those heater screws with a passion!!
I always super glue the brake/clutch master cylinder clevis pins to my finger tip to fit them, makes installation a doddle.

Clutch/Brake clevis are hard, bit of long cardboard. Just painfull on the back laying upside on the sill.

I find upper suspension arms a pain in the arse. spinning axle and getting both nuts off.

Bottom clevis on clutch arm is going to be a pain. Looks like a bolt and nut has been used. :-(
I'll throw in rear left shock replacement for an honourable mention. Not hard in itself but such a pain in the arse how much harder such a simple job is when you realise the fuel tank needs to come out.

Especially on a Minus where the tank barely fits in the first place.

Surely any job where you have to make a tool is on this list!

I actually found the clutch pedal clevis pin a little easier than I was first expecting - I'd be tempted to add the fitment of chrome finishing trim to this list though, that required a lot of patience!

Driver's side engine mounting on an automatic 998. Only managed it by aralditing nuts to the mounting.

I always worry about using R clips on the clutch and brake master cylinders because if the clevis pin turns the long end of the R clip can catch the bodywork and prevent the pedal returning fully.

Best wishes

Mike

Once you accept that you will have to dismantle other things to enable you to achieve your original task then the stars align and your mini world becomes an easier place.Steve..

Yes that task does turn the air blue and warrant at least 3 cups of tea whilst psyching yourself up for another attempt. And then when you've got them back in there's still the other side to do ....

Gotta agree Nick.

The bonnet hinges aren't bad if you use three or four extensions on your ratchet.

Heater screws, not the hardest or most fiddly
but definitely one of the most frustrating seeing how simple you’d think it would be

1. Removing the back wok bolt with the engine in situ.

2. Master cylinder clevis pins

3. Removing a freeflow manifold from the engine bay with a remote boxed engine without damaging paint.
