I have come to the conclusion that the body work on my MPi just isn't going to get done by me if i ever want to see it back on the road soon enough for me to enjoy it.

So I would like some recommendations for a body shop to do the work on the MPi. Based somewhere in the north if possible. I don't mind travel and i have a trailer for the shell.

Its the usual scenario with an MPi. wings, scuttle, sills. heel boards and a full respray.

Surprisingly the rest of the car is ok (doors, roof, backend)

I am quite competent to to the mechanicals and the shell is just that, everything off and working through reconditioning these parts.

I know Millroad Garages get lots of support here but travelling from Middlesbrough is a bit of a stretch. (650 mile round trip).

Any help would be much appreciated.

I can't comment on Dan's work but Jason and the team have done my Elf bodywork and have been top drawer.

On a side note if the body is in need of a lot of bodywork it won't take a bodyshop long to rack up a bill equivalent to a new heritage shell, so may be worth thinking about a re-shell rather than restoration.

I called Jason recently and he mentioned he has a long lead time but worth a call.
