Just finished my mini rotisserie made from an old trampoline frame. Works pretty well and cheap as chips.

Photo of front mounting.  Long bolts through subframe mounting tower and 4 bolts through bulkhead boles (brake / clutch cylinder holes).  Cut the centres out of a couple of old steel wheels.

It's a 10ft trampoline frame.  I've just flipped each leg / stand around 180 and moved them further out.  It's a bit tight at the front and rear and you'll notice that the front bumper mount has been removed as it was rusty.  6 castors are bolted and welded on.

I just use a ratchet strap at the moment to hold the shell at certain angles but was thinking of using a sprung loaded gate bolt to locate on the wheel stud holes.  Just haven't got around to trying that yet.

Nice bit of ingenuity - good work

Although I can't help but think it reminds me of one of these:

Cracking idea!

I couldn't give away a big trampoline the other day, had to take it down the dump.

Should have built a spit and put it on ebay.

How do you stop it rolling around the garage when you’re working on the car? Do the casters have brakes?

Yeah it's got brakes on the castors but I don't normally have to use them as it doesn't move really easily due to the weight of the shell.
