I'm selling my 1969 mk2 cooper. I am losing my storage and I have lost interest in it since returning back to work.

Tartan Red black roof
Mot and tax exempt
Original 998cc cooper engine
Almost completely original spec except for the glass as it had none when I bought it.
Heritage certificate
Lots of old MOTS going back to 2003
7 previous keepers

I bought this earlier in the year to do as a road going project.

I have replaced the clutch with a new friction plate, minispares lightened flywheel, diaphragm, release bearing, slave cylinder, clevis pins, push rod.

New rc40 twin box exhaust
New minispares overriders
New minispares deluxe bumpers (Need fitting)
New roller bearing remote driveshafts couplings
New engine mounts
New electronic ignition and coil
New front and rear screens
New door glass channels (Need fitting)
New minispares deluxe side chrome trims (Need fitting)
New halogen headlights and bowls (Need fitting)
New Hardi fuel pump
New washer pump (needs fitting)
Rebuilt twin hs2 carbs
K&n elements in original air box
New clutch parts as listed above

The to do list is as follows...

The wiring to the centre clocks needs doing
The brakes need checking or overhaul
The door glass needs refitting
The washer pump needs fitting
New bumpers need fitting
The door fitment needs the wood method to obtain a good shut/fit
The rear quarter windows needs glass frame repairs
The chrome door window surround trim is not present.
A general check for roadworthyness as I haven't had it on the road.
The engine smokes so needs sorting. I have done the stem seals and lapped the valves in but it still smokes. I had planned on a full engine rebuild to freshen things up.

The car might need a few bits here and there. The main bits are the fresh air tube and windscreen wipers.

The bodywork is good. Oversills are present (previous owner not me) but no signs of any rot. The subframes are good. It has had previous restorations over the years and also has been converted to dry suspension at some point. If your looking for an example that's has never been repaired and 100% original then this is not it.

Just needs some tlc to finish

It love it to go to an enthusiast so I can see it completed.

£10k
