I’m currently putting together a suck through supercharger with the m45 mini charger.

Just need to know please if I need to change any part on the Hif 44 carb ? It’s been fully rebuilt recently and contains a yellow spring. I’m aware a suitable needle will be needed but any other parts to be changed ?

As it’s a suck through system you don’t need to change anything on the carb (apart from a suitable needle) as it only ever sees vacuum.

Phil.

I've got an sc12 which i'm trying to tune at the moment. had to put two springs together green and yellow, and 20w50 in the dashpot just to get it to run under load. Getting a BDE needle soon and will try that too.
