Hi All

Ill be fitting a central locking kit to my 1999 MPi at the weekend.

Mini mania and P&L minis sell a 'Classic Mini Alarm Interface' in order to link the rover lucas 5AS alarm to the kit so that the centeral locking kit will work via the key fob.

Im on a tight budjet and as far as i can tell this interface kit is only 4 wires:

So my question is, does anyone know what exactly this interface is doing and whats going on under the black tape? If I am going to try and replicate this harnis and any additional information would be very useful.

Thanks!

I have the Minispares one (not fitted yet, but its spliced into the loom)

It does feel like there is a circuit board in there
